Your first visit with us involves a comprehensive assessment of your chief complaint by one of our private doctors. They will work with you to develop a plan of management and give you clear, realistic expectations.

They will take time to listen to your complaint in detail and will not rush you. Some patients already have a prescription from one of their other doctors, but if you don’t, we are able to provide you with one when clinically appropriate.

You can request an appointment online or give us a call at 403-879-8919 and let us guide you back to a more active lifestyle. http://ow.ly/HteM50GX7cw

PRP is currently understood to have anti-inflammatory and pain reduction effects that can help with more than just knee issues. PRP injections are used to treat torn tendons, tendinitis, muscle injuries, arthritis-related pain, and joint injuries.

There are a myriad of ways in which PRP can help joint osteoarthritis, including the anabolic effects of the growth factors found within PRP. There is a well-documented anti-inflammatory effect as well as cell proliferation and scaffolding to help create tissue remodeling. PRP has also been found to improve tissue stiffness, making cartilage more resilient to future wear and tear.

Private health care has long existed within Canada. As good as the public system is, it is not always timely.

Our private facility provides highly effective, accurate image-guided pain therapy with a wait time of as little as one day. Tired of waiting? Call 403-879-8919 to book.

Wondering what will happen during your injection appointment?

The practitioner will go over your consent form, explain the procedure and answer any questions you may have. We will take 60 millilitres of blood from your arm to prepare the PRP.

The sample is placed in a centrifuge and spun to separate the platelets from the rest of the blood components: This process may take several minutes.

The practitioner will bring you into the treatment room and position you on the table where the skin will be cleaned. Using ultrasound guidance, the practitioner will then inject the platelet-rich blood into the affected area using a sterile needle.
