Take the Lead provides support for Alberta girls and women working or volunteering in the sport, physical activity, or recreation sector who are increasing their leadership capacity. Past recipients have supported coaching education/training, officiating education/training, and other leadership training in the sector.

Individual Take the Lead Applicants can apply for a maximum of $1000 per individual
Organization Take the Lead Applicants can apply for up to $3000 per organization.
Note: Individual applications must be in partnership with an Alberta registered not for profit or charity to be eligible.

This fall, we're gathering in person in Red Deer at Red Deer Polytechnic (RDP). Join us on Tuesday, November 4th from 10:00am to 2:00pm for learning and sharing about a new para sport innovation project (happening right at RDP!) and further discussion about Indigenous partnerships and programming. Lunch will be provided.
