Message from the Bighorn Heritage ATV Society

Important Notice!!!

Due to recent snow melts and rain fall, BHAS wants to advise of HIGH WATER levels at creek crossings.
As July 1st quickly approaches and the trails in the Eastern Slopes open to off-highway vehicles, Bighorn Heritage ATV Society wants to inform riders that the creeks at the Hummingbird/Onion Lake area in the Bighorn Backcountry are flowing at extremely high levels.

Plan your rides accordingly, generally the crossings are low level in the morning hours and high in the afternoon.
Be prepared to have to backtrack from H5 to H4 and back to staging areas in the afternoons as there are multiple crossings between H5 and H3 (Hummingbird Creek Trail) that can get fast and powerful.
