New Wave
Marking a departure from what one would expect of a Thursday night at the club, NEW WAVE is the brainchild of DJ & producer, OAKK. Supported by local producers and selectors including Silkq, Ting and Carissa Gem, its weekly offerings at the notorious HiFi Club push the sonic envelope and aim to entice artists and innovators out of their comfort zones.
In its first year, NEW WAVE has already hosted a wide range of electronic music’s most daring minds, including The Librarian, Blank Banshee, Great Dane, SYNKRO, Zeke Beats, Mad Zach, GREAZUS, Chapel Sound, Mad Zach, Jon1st and DJ Shiftee – to name but a few.
