Meet Yote💙 This sweet boy absolutely loves attention and will happily freeze in place for as long as you’re willing to give him scratches and pets. He’s incredibly affectionate and enjoys following his people around wherever they go. He’s also very food motivated and already learning quickly — he responds well to “come here” and “sit.”

He’s wonderful on leash and very easy to walk. He stays close by your side, matches your pace, and doesn’t pull or chew on the leash. Loud noises can make him pause to assess the situation, but with a little reassurance like “come on” or “good boy,” he’s happy to continue walking.

Bath time and grooming are a breeze with him. He stays calm and still while getting his paws cleaned, ears washed, and even while being dried off afterward.

He is still adjusting to crate training, but settles much more easily when he can see you nearby. After exercise and playtime, he falls asleep quickly in his crate. He will also let you know when he needs to go outside.

He’s doing very well with house training and has had no accidents in his crate. As long as he’s taken outside every 1–2 hours during the day and a couple times overnight, accidents in the house are easily avoided.

🐾 Cats: Unknown
🐾 Dogs: Currently nervous around other dogs
🐾 Kids: No direct interaction yet, but he has a very gentle personality and would likely do well with respectful children
🐾 Barking: Rarely barks — mainly to signal he needs to go outside. May cry briefly when settling into his crate or when left alone, but calms within 5–10 minutes
🐾 Car rides: Nervous in a crate during car rides, but does much better laying beside you or being held
🐾 Leash skills: Excellent walker

He’s a gentle, loving little guy who is learning more every day and would thrive in a patient, caring home.
