We are sad to hear of Alison's passing. Working with Alison left an impression on me early in my career. Her straight-up approach and strong advocacy inspired me to be more critical in my thinking and beyond the short term. We'll miss you Alison.

Ending an extremely eventful and meaningful year with a quiet trip to Jean Marie River First Nation (Tthets’éhk’edélî).
Crazy how much this community has been through in the last few years, being at the forefront of climate change with wildfires and flooding. Lucky timing to be in town during their annual open house where we Elisa and I shared in great food. I got to meet old friends who I haven't seen in years. Looks like I'm the only one who's aged! You guys looking good.

An eventful week in Calgary ended with a celebratory dinner, strolling downtown, and some rambunctious scooter riding.

Thank you for spending time with us and see you all again soon – whether it be in the North, Calgary or somewhere in-between!
