What we are exposed to becomes our norm...not all songs we sing today are truly great...some have great promotions. Some great songs were never written or produced or promoted because the writer couldn't overcome the inertia of stepping out. What are you holding on to that you are unwilling to release to the world. Step of your comfort zone. Do what you can now with what you have...them more will be added to you.

I remember vividly when you
me called to this.
There was no trace of talent whatsoever. I couldn't sing a note correctly. But you told me before you formed me you knew me and ordained me.
I could remember my first solo. Where I learned the song on Saturday night, sang it all through the night and forgot it on stage. I said I will never do this again.
But your mighty hands put me back together. I could remember hearing chords in my dreams and could not record it on my phones. Chords and notes no mortal can play and sing.

I'm still a work in progress I know. But I've gone a bit far from where I began. Through all the joys and triumphs, through all the pain and mishaps on stage, all the rehearsals, all the studio preparations. You were always with me.

I choose to be vulnerable for your glory. I choose to step out into the light where you called me. It's more convenient to pass through life and never dare what you called me to do. I will just be like others, just be normal. But you won't allow me. You are asking for more than the ordinary. Inspite of the pain and joy, I surrender to your will. I will do that which you called me.
Time ticks, season passes with a blink but your purpose is sure. We will pursue you to the last. Your name alone will be glorified.
If are reading this, there is a path that He has called you to walk in, an inconvenient path. A path where the eagles eyes has not seen. There is a time and season for every purpose on earth. Purposeful living is not normal, we can't live normal because we are not normal. We are extra-normal. Go for it.
