Every once in a while I see a tire with a bulge, but nothing has come close to this fella!

The customer's tent trailer had been parked in the garage for some time, and they noticed when they tried to move it for the first time in a good while, that the tires wouldn't turn due to this bad boy being jammed up in the wheel well.

Here it is! "My air conditioner stopped cooling, can you recharge it?"

I get asked this question quite a bit, and this air conditioner is a great example of why it's not recommend to add a valve and recharge the unit.

Rv air conditioners are hermetically sealed, meaning they are filled once, and sealed off completely and do not have a charge port. If one leak has caused you to loose coolant, there are typically more places right behind it that are ready to fail also. Internal defects can cause these issues too and once they happen, these will continue to cause issues.

There are many repairable parts on the air conditioner, and this is definitely not a common issue, but if you do get a leak, or you compressor runs but doesn't cool, it's just time for a new air conditioner.

This one in particular had a leak and was repaired and recharged. This was a good job for what it was but only lasted about a year before failing and putting the owner back in the same spot they were in before... way too hot and in the middle of nowhere!

Fortunately they now have a new air conditioner installed now and are back on the road.

New record for the most ruptured suburban water heater I've seen yet! This one was a blast to remove ;D
