We’re excited to be partnering with Kiyooka Ohe Arts Centre & Sculpture Park and Tall Feathers Org this month to bring our community together for a special afternoon of creativity, storytelling and connection.

Join us October 30 from 1–4 PM at CMHA Calgary’s Welcome Centre for Story Feathers, a hands-on workshop exploring storytelling, cultural knowledge and connection through the creation of hand-crafted story feathers.

The workshop will be hosted with Elder Harley Crowshoe (Piikani Nation) and artist facilitators Patricia Lortie, Oo’Ks’pain’aakii and James Ziegler, Mohkinstsis Pookáá.

As each feather takes shape, stories emerge, weaving together generations, lived experiences and shared reflections. Through art, conversation and creating together, participants will have the opportunity to listen, learn from one another, foster belonging and celebrate the relationships that shape our communities.
