Purpose - Think about how you enjoy the room—brighter, task lighting for kitchens and soft lighting for cozy areas. Scale - Choose those larger fixtures in areas that require more presence and light - remember to measure.
Style - Consider the style story for not just the room, but the entire home.
Layer - Remember the floor and accent lighting is part of the overall look too.
