We are proud to announce that Dr. Chetna Tawar, DMD, will be joining the Toothworks Calgary team beginning Monday, July 13, 2026.

Dr. Tawar brings decades of experience and a genuinely caring approach to dentistry. A graduate of the University of Saskatchewan (Class of 1997), she began her dental career in Calgary before relocating to Ontario in 2004. Since then, she has been a dedicated member of the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario, providing exceptional care to patients while continually advancing her clinical expertise.

Her areas of interest include cosmetic dentistry, endodontics and Invisalign® treatment. Dr. Tawar is passionate about staying current with the latest techniques to help patients achieve healthy, functional, and beautiful smiles.

Known for her calm, compassionate, and gentle approach, Dr. Tawar is committed to creating a relaxed and comfortable experience for every patient. She takes the time to ensure each person feels informed, heard, and at ease throughout their treatment.

Outside the clinic, Dr. Tawar is a proud mother of four, including a set of triplets. Her experience raising a busy family has shaped her patient, understanding, and family-focused approach to care. Now that her children are pursuing their own paths at university, she is thrilled to be returning to Calgary—a city that has always felt like home. She looks forward to reconnecting with family and friends. In her free time, enjoys working out, walking, and hiking with her dog.
