Samaritan’s Purse is rushing a second Disaster Relief Unit tractor-trailer to Manitoba after another devastating flood.
A wall of water, driven by heavy rain, washed into Swan River, Manitoba, swamping at least 115 homes. That rain also brought more flooding to neighboring Minitonas, where Samaritan’s Purse teams have been working for weeks.
More than 230 families have called for help between the two communities.

Samaritan’s Purse Canada is on the ground helping families after widespread flooding in Minitonas and Swan River, Manitoba. Many homes are damaged. Over 220 families have called out for help.
