Fortunately, Dad was on-site and ready to go full “Hulk mode” to resolve the situation.

A door and some trim didn’t survive the rescue… but no problem. We replaced everything, matched the paint, and now it looks like nothing ever happened—except for a pretty great story.

Spring is in the air… and so is the sound of a jackhammer.

We caught a short break in the cold weather and used the opportunity to remove these old concrete steps at the back of this home. The homeowner is planning ahead so a brand new patio deck can be built early in the season.

Our client came to us with a clear vision and a defined budget for three separate closets.

The goal was simple: maximize organization and function without overspending.

We worked within that budget to design and build layouts that delivered practical storage, clean lines, and long-term usability.

Well-designed organization doesn’t have to be out of reach for price — it just has to be planned properly.

Not the ideal time of year to build something like this — but when safe access to your own home is on the line, timing becomes secondary.

This 72-foot mobility ramp was built to restore safe, reliable backyard access. Function came first, safety was critical, and every section was framed and secured with long-term use in mind.

We’re proud of the finished result — and even more proud of how much it meant to our client.

This one started with a simple request — pull up a few deck boards the client had marked as questionable and check if anything else needed replacing.

Once we opened it up, it was clear the damage went much deeper.

We removed all compromised material and rebuilt the affected sections with new pressure-treated framing and cedar decking, carefully matching the original octagon layout so the finished result stayed true to the existing design.

Sometimes a small repair reveals the real scope — and that’s when doing it properly matters most.

This was a rewarding one to complete.

The homeowner contacted us after struggling to find a contractor willing to take it on.

Their front porch roof and deck had been sinking for years — dropping nearly two inches from its original slope.

Once we removed the stone façade and post casing, the cause was obvious. The structural post was non-pressure-treated wood and had deteriorated from prolonged moisture exposure.

We installed engineered temporary supports, removed the failed post, and replaced it with pressure-treated lumber. The repair was finished with a clean plywood wrap, new cedar skirting, and paint matched to the home’s trim.

A structural issue corrected properly — and built to last.

Unfortunately leaks happen, even in newer homes, and some times those leaks happen a couple weeks after the warranty expires from the builder.

Nothing we can't handle- we installed fresh drywall, tape and mud the seams, got the finish as smooth as new, primed and painted with a perfect paint match from the pros at Benjamin Moore.

At TaskMaster we always take the time to protect your home while we work, putting down RAM board on the floor, taping up plastic film and utilizing our dustless sanding techniques.

All said it done, it's like nothing ever happened.

Last year kept us busy delivering quality projects for great clients — so busy, in fact, that we’re just now getting the chance to properly showcase some of the work.

One of the first projects we’re proud to share is the transformation of an unused rear space in a clinic in Airdrie into a fully functional staff room, laundry area, and dedicated storage space.

We also installed two custom sink cabinets in the exam rooms, to clean up the look of the spaces and add some needed storage.

Starting from an empty shell, we framed new walls to define each area, installed cabinetry and a sink, and completed the laundry zone with a marble countertop designed for practical, durable use.

The staff room was finished with drywall, high-wear paint, custom shelving, and a durable laminate floor built to handle daily commercial traffic.

From unused space to a purposeful, polished environment — built to serve the team that uses it every day.
