Hi Everyone,

I'm sorry it's taken longer than expected to send out an update. Mostly because I didn't have a full grasp on how the US tariffs were going to affect pricing. Yes, unfortunately most of the coffee pricing has been affected. Most everything has gone up a minimum $0.25/ box. This is because, even if the product is packaged and shipped from Canadian suppliers, the beans come in through the US via "parent" companies.

I have heard from some of you and I know some of you have returned to visiting Symons Valley again. I thank you so much for your patronage and loyalty.

Those of you who have returned to the market will have noticed the selection is limited based on available space within the market itself. However, I have come up with a strategy that I hope will make it very easy for everyone to get what they are looking for.

There is a support post at the cash desk. There will be order forms on a clipboard hanging there where you can place your orders. As always, if there is anything not listed special orders can be accommodated if available. These orders will then be available for pickup anytime after 12pm the following Friday unless otherwise notified. You may also place your orders with me throughout the week via email, text, or social media. However, all orders need to be received before 10am Wednesday morning for your order to be ready on Friday.

Northland Village Mall - STORE CLOSING

As of July 29th, the store in Northland Village mall will be closed. At this time, due to the poor operation of the mall and that of mall management, I have decided it is in my best interest to sever ties.

We will remain open up to and including Saturday the 28th. Anyone with a loyalty card is encouraged to come in and redeem for the 10% off (in store product only) regardless of how many stamps you have accumulated. The discount will apply to regular priced items only. These cards will not be valid for use at the Symons Valley Mercantile store.

Special orders and requests cannot be accommodated until August 3rd at the Symons Valley store.

Some, not all product will be marked down effective July 25th. I don't have details on what these items might be. The less I have to move the better. There will be no new inventory coming into the store after the 18th.

As eluded to in the above information, I will be maintaining a presence at the Symons Valley Mercantile for the foreseeable future. This means you will still be able to get your fix.

Effective immediately (Northland only):
-Buy 3 syrups and get a free stand. (15 stands available, as seen on display, holds 3 bottles.)
-Buy 5 syrups and get a free spinner. (2 spinners available, holds 6 bottles.)
-Alkaline water counter top unit (store use). Based on a family of 4 the filter would be good for roughly another 2-3 months. Replacement filters are easy to obtain and I could still supply them. Inquire at the store if interested.
-Ikea shelving units available for purchase. Algot is the name of the system if you would like to look them up on their website. Inquire at the store if you're interested. May not be ready for pick up until the last few days.
-Chrome shelving units available like those found at Home Depot. Inquire at the store if you're interested. May not be ready for pick up until the last few days.

The sooner you visit the store the more selection you will have to choose from. The later you visit the store there will be less to choose from and may only be the odd item that will be marked down.
