Quinspired Ceramics

I finally finished it. This large vase is hand coiled with Canadian speckled stoneware that turns toasty and warm when fired against a brushed black glaze. It didn’t fire perfectly, there are cracks that emerged but the practice of making beyond my experience always imprints so many lessons on how I move forward on my next piece. Clay is my toughest critic, and best teacher.
