These sleek and social birds are often seen travelling in flocks throughout Alberta during the warmer months. ๐ฑ
Cedar Waxwings are known for their silky-looking feathers, black mask, and bright yellow tail tip. They spend much of the summer feeding on berries, insects, and fruit, often moving gracefully between trees and shrubs. ๐โจ
Unlike many songbirds, Cedar Waxwings are highly social and are commonly spotted feeding and resting together in groups.
