While the city slept, this swan glided through the golden reflections like royalty walking through a ballroom that was built just for them. No invitation needed. No ticket required. Just show up and own the water.

I was lying at water level, lens barely above the surface, watching the city blur into bokeh while the swan slowly floated by. That’s the thing about wildlife photography. You can plan your settings, scout your location, set up in the dark. But the moment? The moment is a gift. You don’t take it. You receive it.
