This.

I've been told don't listen to the s**t you hear from the people, only listen to what the government says - but look what that did. Look at what listening to the republican government in America did, because some people believed if you got pregnant by accident, you need to go through the pregnancy.

Ive tried to explain that the people affected aren't just the people like me, the 20 year Olds who's birth control doesn't always work or the 1% of people that tried to be safe and it didn't work - this affects children, parents, whole families, and people still believe that every pregnancy should be seen through.

I will never judge someone for either choice when it comes to abortion, but I will judge someone when they're claiming that we shouldn't have a choice due to religion or politics or someone else's personal beliefs. And I won't shut up about it.

YES

This is what happens when you speak out for the RIGHT reasons - she was experiencing discrimination and she simply just asked of them to do better, she didn't want anything else.

I have so much respect for her and what she did, along with her friend for encouraging her. It's not easy to speak up about ableism that we all experience daily, whether it's a visual disability or an invisible one.

When I had a service dog for my autism and I went to get lunch at the pizza place near Doyle, I was refused entry due to my service animal while there was someone with a puppy in their jacket in the corner - the problem wasn't the dog, in their eyes, it was my disability. I posted about it and called the accessibility board and they did do better from that moment on, especially once I had a respectful discussion with the owner of the store the next day without the problem employee.

Ablism is something I experience every day, and I am grateful for the angel that stepped up the same way I wouldve, and tried to when that happened to me. I'm grateful that they didn't do it for money or apologies, they simply wanted them to do better.

So by posting this, I say the same thing - do better.

Stop saying sorry, and do better - work towards the change we want to see in the world, otherwise we are gonna be living in hell for the rest of our lives.
