This Sunday we come to one of the Lord's great Kingdom parables โ€” a field where wheat and weeds have grown up together, and a Master who will not let them be torn apart.

The servants want to pull the weeds at once. It's an instinct we know well: the itch to sort the world into the good and the bad, and to set the field right ourselves. But the Master says something we do not expect โ€” let both grow together until the harvest.

Come and hear why his patience is not weakness but mercy, why the sorting was never ours to do, and what it means to live faithfully in the field before the harvest comes โ€” trusting the One whose field this is, and who knows how the story ends.

Join us tomorrow at 10:30am, in person or online. Whatever has grown up around you this week โ€” come. The field is his, and the harvest is sure.

This Sunday we come to one of the most beloved of all Jesus' parables โ€” the sower who goes out to scatter his seed.

It begins like a tale of waste: seed flung on the path, among the rocks, into the thorns. But there is a secret hidden in the story, and by the end the whole picture changes.

Come and hear what the Sower knew that we so easily forget โ€” that our God is not a God of scarcity, but of an abundance more generous than our fears.

Join us tomorrow at 10:30am, in person or online. Whatever soil this week has left you standing in โ€” come. The seed is still being sown.

"Come to me, all who labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest." โ€” Matthew 11:28

This Sunday at Eternal Hope, our summer journey through Matthew arrives at one of our Lord's most tender invitations โ€” and a curious one. He offers rest to the weary, and in almost the same breath hands them a yoke. How can a yoke be rest?

We'll sit with that question together in "The Easy Yoke," part of our series Now and Not Yet: A Summer in Matthew. Whatever this week has laid upon you, bring it โ€” there is a place for you at the Table.
