FPEIM President Bruce MacDougall and Executive Director Satya Sen recently met with Charlottetown MP Sean Casey to advance PEI and Atlantic municipal priorities.

Their discussion focused on infrastructure funding, reliable cell service, climate and coastal resilience, and immigration.

The Province is hosting a series of voter and candidate awareness sessions across PEI. The first one takes place June 29 for the Resort Municipality.

Islanders who are interested in participating in upcoming municipal elections are invited to a series of voter and candidate awareness sessions.

The sessions will cover the roles and responsibilities of municipal officials, the nomination process, and what voters and candidates can expect during an election period. The Resort Municipality election will take place on August 10, 2026, and province-wide municipal elections will be held on November 2, 2026.
