Exercise.

I know you've heard this time and time again, but I have to say it. Exercise is an integral part of our health and wellbeing. It increases our endorphins (feel good chemicals) naturally. It helps pump our lymphatic system to keep our immune system strong. It improves and sustains joint mobility. It improves and sustains bone density. The list goes on and on.

Although gyms and classes may be helpful in keeping you accountable to you goals and routine, exercise doesn't have to be fancy. You don't need an expensive gym membership or elaborate props to move your body. Walking outside, using your stairs, using cans of soup or beans as weights...there are so many options if you're not a traditional gym goer. And now there are also so many online memberships available as well so you don't even have to leave the house (my ultimate dreamšŸ˜†)!

Personally, I'm now an at-home online workout enthusiast! But guess what? I wasn't always a consistent exerciser! 🤫 I had to find what worked for me and it took a while. For the past few years now, my favourite workouts are pilates and barre, and I love walking outside and hiking in the woods.

If you're just beginning an exercise routine, start small , such as a ten minute walk or workout and then build from there. Whatever you choose to do should be enjoyable to you. You'll be more consistent if you're not dreading your workout!
