This is a well known issue by all who have clients stuck in IRCC's backlog of applications.
Immigration applications used to take months. They're now stretching into years | CBC News Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) had a backlog of nearly 1.8 million immigration applications as of Oct. 27. Many applicants told CBC News they feel stuck in limbo, with no clear way to check on their files.
