This is one of my favorite photos of my brother and I.

It was taken during a very happy time in my life.

This was my pre-wedding party 18 years ago.

My brother was SO happy for me.

He was my biggest supporter.

My Grandad gave me away at my wedding as my Dad passed when I was 18 years old.

But he had been very ill and his voice was still very weak so my brother stepped and did his speech. It was one of the most pivotol and memorable experiences of my life... It stood for so much. He did an amazing job. I was SO proud of him...

And he is the EXACT reason why I'm on this mission to help as many people as possible.

I couldn't help him through his addiction and pain.

No one should EVER have to endure the pain and suffering that he went though.

I wish I had another chance with him... I have the tools now to help him... I wish I knew then what I do now... Therapy could have helped him... I could have helped him...

It's 2 years since he passed.

And it would have been his 49th birthday.

In his honor, I'd like to help someone suffering with addiction without charging.

Graham Oliver Searle and the man I am so proud to call my brother... 1 year ago today, he left us to go to a better place, but his memory lives on and he's our inspiration to help others. I miss your voice, your laugh, your kindness, your sense of humor, your heart... You, I just miss you... RIP bro x

The enormity of the problem is profound.

Our brothers, sisters, family, friends and children....

We all know someone affected by the claws of addiction...

Gaming addiction is one of the most recent forms of addiction to have emerged and it has caused incalculable pain to countless people in recent decades, and a growing number of people are now being treated - UK Rehab

The data is extensive and there are numerous types of addiction...

But what makes one person an addict and someone else not?

How can some people use recreational drugs occasionally and others develop an acute addiction?

Why can some people have a drink and leave it at that?

What makes the guy that bets only $50 in a casino different from the guy that blows everything he owns?
