Hidden Gem šŸ’Ž |
Found this hidden gem coffee shop, in Kaslo, BC

They serve on drip and on espresso bar. Loved the vintage looking espresso machine. The cappuccino texture was silky and tasted notes of honey and floral. If you are not a coffee person, they also have other latte, like Ube latte and Turmeric latte.

To pair with the amazing drinks was the perfect brunch menu pair up. 🄚

The Brioche buns were heavenly soft, and the avocado tasted so fresh! šŸ˜‹

Check them out if you are ever around Ainsworth Hotspring, Kaslo is only ~20minutes North. 🧭

Kelowna Road Trip Pt. 1 šŸš— |
and I were en route to Kelowna to celebrate our one year wedding anniversary, we had to stop by at at Chilliwack. I first heard of them from Beanstock 2022 and saw go there when he was in town, too!

They did not disappoint! My wife got a Raspberry Mocha. It was silky, creamy, and had a hint of Raspberry jam taste. Would 10/10 recommend this seasonal drink!

I had their nitro cold brew on tap, and it was so refreshing! I tasted notes of red fruits and caramel. The nitrogen always brings so much texture! šŸ˜‹ ā˜•ļø

Bio Innovation Process Caturra |
Have you tried the bio innovation process method? I haven't either, and that's why I was so intrigued to give the La Palma y El Tucan roasted by a try.

I was able to taste the grapefruit and subtle bubblegum notes. Like the hubba bubba gum (iykyk). šŸ¬

Overall, this is a very sweet brew with a strong body and low acidity. šŸ˜‹

Aside from showcasing latte art and workflow, I plan to showcase product photography of coffee and coffee gear. Hit me up if you want your product featured. šŸ“·

On The Go Coffee - Electric Coffee Grinder |

For the past few days, I daily drove the new portable electric grinder from
My first impression is that it is a sleek-looking portable electric grinder that is easy to use.

It came fully charged, so I was able to test it immediately. I was able to adjust the grind size for a moka pot and for some pourover (e.g., V60 and Origami). You press the power button, and it starts grinding immediately with a blue indicator light. Once all the beans have been ground, it will grind another couple of seconds before turning off itself. In total, it took about 2 minutes to grind medium fine (for V60). Which was about the same time as you would grinding on a Hario grinder. Which made sense, since they are both ceramic burr grinders.

Thanks for letting me test this out, I’m excited to bring this out to the wild and do some outdoor brew next!

Specifications:
Hopper Capacity: 25g
Ceramic burr set
18 cm height x 7.5 cm diameter
1250 mAh Lithium-ion battery rechargeable via USB-C
Adjustable grind size k**b
