When I was a kid, the very first thing I ever taught myself how to draw was Yoshi. Fairly simple, couple circles, some pupils and a big red tongue. But who would’ve thought that little critter would spark something in me that would lead me to doing this tattoo today. Funny how life works.

So very grateful to be able to work in my own space with you guys. I hope you love this space just as much as I do. A lot of love and care went into creating this lil slice of my soul (thanks mom, dad & uncle marke!) and I’m so incredibly excited to invite you in🥰

Since day 1, my priority as a tattooer has always been you guys. No amount of notoriety, fame, money, acclaim would ever equate the feeling I get when I get to see you leave my chair just a bit happier with how you look. Tattoos have been a place for me to discover a love within myself I never thought was achievable. To have the opportunity to bestow just a semblance of self confidence onto you is not something I take lightly, and will always be my driving force of why I remain within this industry.

One of my mentors told me once that when your client is in your chair, it’s their birthday. The whole day is about them.
This studio is for you, and you better believe it’s your birthday the second you step into that door.

A note to my fellow artists. Your clients are here to get a piece of YOUR artwork on them for the rest of their time on this earth. They saw your work and decided they wanted to carry a piece of you with them forever. I fear some of us may have lost the plot along the way, and think tattooing is here to serve us, when it’s always been the other way around. We are here to serve tattooing. We are here to cultivate an art form that has been with us for a millennia.

But most importantly, we are here because of our clients, and it just so happens to be their birthday.
