It is with great pleasure that we congratulate our very own Kim McLandress on her appointment as a member of the University of the Fraser Valley Board of Governors.

“It is an honor to be appointed and entrusted to further the Boards high standards and enhancement of public confidence”, says McLandress, who shared that the Board is entrusted with the stewardship of their institution and is accountable for ensuring the institution fulfills its mandate.

The University of Fraser Valley (UFV) played a major role in her life. “As a student, I found my passion for restorative justice at UFV, studying to get a diploma and ultimately a master’s degree. I felt like an integral part of UFV,” adds McLandress, “I look forward to working alongside leaders who work hard to contribute to the successful education of British Columbians, serving the public interest and advancing public policy objectives.”
