Hopefully this isn't too political of a point of view. It hits home to me and also makes me proud that we do not use any technology for teaching. It's 100% hands on interactive with objects and people to learn all skills including social skills.

Found this picture to be ever so inspiring and true. At AuMaeZ we see the kids take those little steps everyday. We also see them struggle at school with some of those big steps.

Laura is a family friend and I hope to have her on my panel now that she has moved back to BC from PQ where she worked with older students in a clinical environment. I just love watching her music therapy sessions.

March is Music Therapy Awareness Month and so we are highlighting the amazing influence music can have on one’s health care. The effect of music therapy for our littlest of patients goes beyond providing incredible care for them, it also benefits their families as well.
