Something creative and inspiring for us all. I love how this integrates multiple subject areas.🎸What a win for son and mom!

Here at OWWL we have a tradition unlike most...Grinch Day! It started out as "the day we watch the Grinch movie" but has evolved over time into quite the production. We invite you to be creative and have a Grinch Day of your own. The greatest part is that if you decide to make it very unconventional or odd or even awkward you can use the Grinch as your excuse. Have it tomorrow or Boxing Day or January 2nd. You decide. Here are a few ideas to get you started. In recent years we have painted suncatchers of Grinch characters, made Grinch masks, made Grinch/Whoville decorations, learned how to draw a Grinch, decorated with Whoville-like decor, Grinch Jeopardy, pin the heart on the Grinch and eaten green Grinchy food. Grinch Day saw the invention of our first Grinch pancake (your basic pancake with a lot of kale or spinach whizzed in). This year you can see we did green Jello, green rice crispies cut into hearts, and various other green foods we concocted. Most importantly we watched The Grinch movie. When you do it you should watch whichever one you want or watch them all. Its Grinch Day, you make it how you want. Do a little or a lot. Enjoy! Happy Grinch Day! Owl Weekly Workshops for Learning!
