☀️ Whew!!! What an extremely busy summer it’s been! This relentless heat hasn’t let up, but our course is still looking fantastic. 🌿💚 Our greens are lush, tee-offs are in great shape, and the fairways are staying beautifully green.

🆕 New this week! We have a brand-new carving on the 5th hole! 🪵✨ Huge thanks to “Carver & Bean” for their incredible craftsmanship. Every time a new carving arrives, we can hardly wait “2” see it's and we’re already excited for the next one!

🔔 Also new on the course! We’ve replaced our bell with a brand-new one on the 3rd hole! For those of you golfing daily, when you reach the 3rd hole, give the bell a ring to let the group behind you know it’s clear to hit. This helps keep everyone safe and moving smoothly. You’ll also spot a friendly reminder sign on the bridge before you head over.

🚨 Course Closure Notice 🚨

Due to heavy flooding, we are closed today, Sunday, July 13th. All tee times have been canceled for the day.

We’ll keep you updated as conditions improve. Stay dry and safe, everyone! 🌧️💧

That thunderclap just now? Loud enough to wake the dead ⚡💀 So naturally, I headed outside and sure enough, a big ol’ storm cloud was rolling in. By the time thunder clap #2 hit (with a couple flashes of lightning to go with it), I knew it was time to clear the course ⛳🌩️

And just in time too! A couple of the guys rolled in right as the rain started coming down 🌧️ Talk about cutting it close.

Honestly though… I kind of love it. There's something peaceful about the sound of rain out here (besides a clean ball strike and the satisfying clink of a putt dropping in the cup, of course 😉).

Pretty sure our turtle and frog friends are loving this weather even more than I am 🐢🐸

Next time you’re out on the course and make your way to Hole 2, we hope you’ll take a quiet moment to think of Bill.

Bill Bath was a truly great guy. Kind, generous, and always ready with a smile. He was a golf pro who taught more than just the swing. He taught confidence, patience, and love for the game. Around here, we fondly knew him as the Golf Yoda.

Bill spent time with us at Pebblestone, especially with our Ladies League, running clinics and helping grow the game. But his wisdom reached far beyond that. He taught countless golfers of all levels over the years. And every now and then, he’d come out and join the guys on Monday nights for a round with our groundskeeping crew. His presence was always appreciated, and his guidance never forgotten.

Bill passed away last year after suffering a heart attack, leaving behind his wife, Kerri, and son, Marshall. After his passing, Kerri asked if we could place a plaque on the course in his memory. Specifically on Hole 2. We like to think maybe it was his favorite.

So the next time you're out for a round and step up to the second tee, take a second to remember Bill. Say hi, take a breath, and enjoy the game like he did.
