Summer is full of unforgettable moments… a dog launching off the dock, a curious turtle soaking up the sun, a hummingbird at the feeder, a deer wandering through the yard, or your favourite cottage cat enjoying lake life.

Now’s your chance to share those moments!

By popular request here's our Dog (and Other Critters) Days of Summer Photo Contest, exclusively for Shadow Lakes Association members.

📷 How to Enter:
✔️ Submit your favourite pet or wildlife photo taken this summer (2026)
✔️ Email it to [email protected]
✔️ Include your name, your pet or animal’s name (if applicable), and a short caption
✔️ Deadline: July 31, 2026

Our Directors will select the Top 3 finalists, and then you, our members, will vote for the winner!

Epic bragging rights! Your photo will be featured in our Late Summer Newsletter, and you’ll earn the title of Shadow Lakes’ Member-Voted Critter Champion!

Our July e-newsletter has been sent to Shadow Lakes Association members today.

This members-only edition includes full details and the agenda for our upcoming AGM, helpful summer reminders, community updates, upcoming events, and important lake and river news to help keep everyone informed and connected this season.

A friendly reminder: if you haven’t paid your 2026 dues yet, you can do so now by e-transfer ($30 to [email protected]), or you can pay in person at the AGM on July 12 when you register.

The volunteers of the Shadow Lakes Association Road Monitor Program have picked up their newsletter bundles and have begun delivering them throughout our lakes and rivers community.

This program helps ensure important updates, community news, and association information reach residents across the Shadow Lakes Association area while keeping neighbours connected throughout the season.
