Pozole is one of Mexico's oldest and most iconic dishes, with roots that go back to the Aztec civilization. Made with hominy corn, this rich and comforting soup has been enjoyed for centuries and has become a symbol of family, tradition, and celebration.

Today, pozole brings people together around the table during birthdays, holidays, Independence Day, Christmas, and countless special gatherings. Every region of Mexico has its own unique version—whether it's red, green, or white—but they all share the same warm, comforting spirit.

Today's Campbell River Pop-Up Market was such a success, and my heart is so full. Thank you to everyone who stopped by, sampled our products, shared kind words, and took Casa Fuego home with you.

We were so busy that most of our salsas sold out!!! Seeing so many amazing people, families, and friends gathering around the booth, tasting together, and supporting this little dream means more than I can put into words.

Thank you, Campbell River, for making today so special. We can't wait to see you again soon!

We'll be heading to Mexico for a sourcing trip, but once we're back, we'll be returning to Campbell River with more pop-up markets! 🔥 Keep an eye out for our next event coming in September (date to be confirmed).

When I started Casa Fuego, my dream was to share a little piece of Mexico with my community. Tonight reminded me that food has a beautiful way of bringing people together, starting conversations, and creating connections.
