We are registered charity providing home health care and community services to residents of the Eastern Counties region, as a part of Carefor.
Today is Elder Abuse Awareness Day. A day we wish we didn't need but unfortunately across Canada 1 in 10 seniors experience some form of abuse, and those are just the reports that are known of.
Today, consider a senior in your life. Check up on them. Make sure they're doing okay. And take time to become aware of the signs of elder abuse.
