What a wonderful day at the Teddy Bear Picnic! 🧸🧸🧸 Our teddy bear clinic was busy! We weighed and measured teddy bears, dinosaurs, cats, giraffes, mermaids, and every other stuffie in between. The tiniest patient weighed just 0.5 oz, while our biggest came in at 3 lb 8.5 oz! We even bandaged a few teddy bear boo-boos. 🩹

One of the highlights was giving away real, functioning kids stethoscopes and teaching nearly 50 children how to listen to their own heartbeats and watching their faces light up! Many of those little heartbeats are the very same ones we listened to while they were still in the womb. 🫶🏼

These babies and children are the heartbeat of OMC- and of every midwife. So yes… the stethoscopes were intentional. ❤️ Every heartbeat reminds us why we do this work: caring for the next seven generations.
