AFC Construction

Glacier View Drive — This project was a true design-build collaboration with one goal: homes designed for every kind of family. AFC worked hand-in-hand with consultants to bring the project from permitting to completion. This strata community features seven thoughtfully designed homes, plus a shared parking and storage building, all situated on a gently sloped corner lot in beautiful Comox. The development includes three patio homes and a multi-plex with two mirrored one-storey and two-storey units. Four of the homes feature level entry access, making them ideal for residents with mobility considerations. With a mix of layouts and styles, the community appeals to a wide range of homeowners — from first-time buyers and young families to retirees interested in ageing in place. Each home reflects the natural beauty of the West Coast, with butterfly roofs, locally sourced cedar accents, and earthy paint tones that complement the surrounding trees. Sustainability was a key focus throughout — from permeable paving that allows rainwater to filter naturally back into the ground, to drought-tolerant landscaping that reduces the need for watering.
