We are grateful for the hard work and dedication of the volunteers of the Cumberland Community Forest Society – including one of our own, Shawn Gabel. What an accomplishment!

On September 1st 2020 we celebrated with this awesome crew of humans as we completed our largest single land purchase (to date) of 225 acres of threatened forest. These folks hold the heart of the CCFS in their hands, ensuring its integrity, transparency and grounding in the local community.

On September 14th 2020 we celebrated our AGM and wish to acknowledge the retirement of Marq Diment and, earlier this year, of Camille Douglas and Nygil Goggins who have all made significant contributions to the CCFS. Thank you for your part in making conservation history!
