Tree regulations across the Comox Valley have changed significantly in the last year. Comox adopted a new bylaw in June. Courtenay has had rules in place for a while. Cumberland is still working toward one. Denman and Hornby operate under a completely different framework through the Islands Trust. And the CVRD has its own requirements for properties in Development Permit Areas.
