With a heavy heart Grass Roots Rod & Customs will no longer be taking on any further projects and I’ll be shutting the shop down due to unforeseen circumstances.
I want to thank all my past, present and future customers who have been patiently waiting to get your projects in the shop. It’s been an absolute pleasure to work with and get to know all of you. This dream would not have been possible without you.

Haven’t posted in a while. We’ve been busy keeping the classics alive.
•The 1968 Firebird came in for some door adjustments, installed the ‘68 only Pontiac 1/4 signal lights and some new adjustable front coil overs. Handled way better.
•The ’63 Galaxy was pulled out of hibernation and will receive an interior overhaul, 4 wheel disc brake conversion and a complete tune up and service followed by a polish.
•The 1961 Pontiac Strato Chief was in for a firewall paint and interior paint. Look forward to seeing more of this beauty
•The 1966 Jaguar “S” Type was in for a new set of rocker panels. This is a really neat old car and happens to be for sale. If anyone is interested send me a message and I’ll get you in contact with the owner.
•The 1969 Olds Cutlass 442 was in for a few electrical issues, new tach and a few other upgrades. This was restored out of province and shows like a new car. Excellent job!
Just a reminder we do much more than paint and body. From suspension upgrades to full engine, transmission swaps and A/C installs. Give us a call and let us help get your classic on the road.

Made some big progress last week on the ‘Cuda Build.
Sanded, seam sealed, epoxy primed, painted, cleared, and undercoated. Now to prep and paint the fender and door inners.
Lots of hard work goes into prepping for a paint job. Then, after few hours of booth time it’s all over and you can’t wait to bolt it back together.
Well worth the effort.

Here’s some updates on the 1970 ‘Cuda Restoration.
We put it on hold most of the summer to take care of a few smaller jobs and build a new paint Bay.
Just sprayed the subframe connectors, engine bay and heavily modified transmission tunnel with epoxy primer followed by some primer surfaced for blocking.
Now to prep the underside for paint and undercoat 👍🏼
Can’t wait to see colour on this beauty.
