As many of you know, I lost a friend this past weekend.

I’ve been struggling to find the right words because she was one of those people who made a difference in so many lives, often without ever asking for recognition.

I met her through her husband years ago, and when I first got into real estate, I joined the brokerage she was at. Helping me wasn’t part of her job, but that never mattered to her. She spent countless hours answering my questions, guiding me through situations I had never faced before, and helping me find my footing in this business.

She was one of the first people I knew I could call when I needed help. No matter what was going on, she would answer the phone and take the time to talk things through. She didn’t have to do any of that, but that’s just who she was.

Over the years, our conversations became about much more than real estate. We talked about our families, our kids, life, and all the things that happen along the way. A friendship grew from that, and I’m grateful for every conversation we had.

Many people in Airdrie knew her for the same reasons I did. When local families lost their homes to fires, she was often the person organizing support, rallying the community, and making sure those families knew they weren’t alone. She had a huge heart and was always willing to step up when someone needed help.

She was a devoted mom, partner, friend, and one of the kindest people I’ve had the privilege of knowing.

My heart breaks for her family and everyone who loved her. ❤️

We are so excited to welcome this little guy home! He is already so smart and has the sweetest personality. We can’t wait to watch him grow and become part of all our adventures.
