5 hens and 2 roo's, almost 16 weeks old. 3 are silver laced wyandotte hens, 2 maran hens, 1 maran rooster and 1 wyandotte rooster. Will be soon be ready to lay, nice little group, clean, healthy flock. $100 for the 5 hens, roosters free if wanted. Located in Digby County.

Big changes for the farm today. Sold our Polish flock and iced the one and only Big Mike.

We were running out of room as we plan to raise many chickens for meat next year, plus we want to up our Rhode Islands and Barred Rocks numbers - leaving the Polish as the odd ones out.

It was a good run for Big Mike, but he was becoming an agitator and bothering the other chickens, so it had to be done. I guess we will need a new mascot 🥲
