If you have a small business website, odds are reasonable that it's running on WordPress (25% of all websites use wordpress, and that number is growing). Which raises the question - are you keeping the underlying software up to date?
"Because of its popularity, WordPress is a magnet for hackers. According to Sucuri’s Q1 2016 Website Hacked Trend Report, 78% of the hacked websites they deal with were running WordPress."
The best way to avoid getting hacked is to keep your website software up to date. For my clients, that means taking advantage of my annual Hosting & Maintenance package, in which I take care of your website hosting, AND I do monthly software updates to make sure your website is running the latest software. So - if you like the idea of not getting hacked, and aren't enthusiastic about trying to keep your site software up to date on your own - give me a call :-)
