Who needs a chalk line. When dealing with new home construction in Alberta on the interior of the home, the variation shall not be more than 3/4 inch from the specified plane of the length of the wall.

Take a second and look at your garage ceiling. I often find drywall sheets with insufficient fasteners. I found this one today. With higher moisture levels in the garage and the lack of fasteners it would not be long till this guy goes for a fall. Which could be a bad day for somebody or something.
