Pinching in your shoulder? I’ve exercienced impingement and labral issues in both of my shoulders in the past. It sucks, but it’s not it’s not the end of the world! Whether the pain is caused by impingement, labral tears, arthritis, or something else, movement is still very important. The type of movement matters. There are dozens of shoulder exercises you can do when your shoulder hurts - the most important thing is to avoid any movement that causes increased pinching in the shoulder. Some discomfort is fine when working with an injury. Any sharp or stabbing pinches should be avoided. As the inflammation and pain reduces, then you can start reintroducing movements that used to cause the pinch. This process can take weeks or months. Be patient.
