May Budget Update!

How many of you have increased your gas budget to reflect the increased gas prices?

What about including flowers, plants, trees or any other yard maintenance for the summer? We finished planting some trees in May. This was a leftover project from last summer when we renovated our backyard.

We had some extra money via increased work hours that we were able to put towards our savings goals this month. We are working on a bathroom renovation for July/August. We usually need to add at least another $1K to the estimate for extra costs that come up.

It's now almost halfway through the year. How is your budget looking? Do you need to change some numbers based on your tracking over the past couple months? For example, we had to increase our gas budget.
