Africa Centre is excited to announce Gaynel Diana Curry—Chair of the United Nations (UN) Permanent Forum on People of African Descent—as the Keynote Speaker for the 18th Africa Day Gala.

In her role at the UN, Ms. Curry works to advance the human rights, lives and livelihoods of communities of African descent worldwide, especially women and girls, including through the promotion of the Durban Declaration and Programme of Action and the Second International Decade for People of African Descent.

Ms. Curry is also the lead negotiator for the Permanent Forum in the elaboration of the Declaration on the Promotion, Protection and Full Respect of the Human Rights of People of African Descent, working closely with the Inter-Governmental Working Group on People of African Descent.

Atelier de cuisine : « Madame et Monsieur en tablier ».

Au menu : une présentation sur l’importance des vitamines dans notre alimentation, suivie d’un moment de cuisine collaborative au cours duquel nous préparerons ensemble des crêpes salées, accompagnées d’un jus naturel fraîchement préparé.

Cet atelier se veut à la fois éducatif, convivial et gourmand, dans un esprit de partage et de découverte.

Notre présidente Alice Prophete, notre DG Alphonse Ndem Ahola et notre directeur de la coordination nationale des TEE Ngena Ali-Ebenga participent au 19e Symposium de l'immigration francophone à Moncton, où la FRAP anime un atelier sur son Programme national des TEE.
Ces échanges avec nos partenaires francophones contribuent au renforcement des services offerts aux nouveaux arrivants partout au Canada.
