July is Disability Pride Month—a time to celebrate people with disabilities, their identities, culture, and the positive contributions they make to society. It also reminds us that disability is a natural and valuable part of human diversity.

At YWCA Edmonton, we believe that individuals of diverse backgrounds, experiences, and abilities are essential to creating a vibrant environment that meets the needs of our community. Our Disability Services Joy Club reflects that commitment by bringing individuals together each month to connect, build friendships, explore Edmonton, and create meaningful memories.

We’re proud to celebrate the joy of belonging, the power of inclusion, and the unique perspectives and contributions of people with disabilities. Show your Disability Pride all year long!
