When it comes to renting, there are a few questions we've found along the way.
We are here to help out renters.
Every Thursday, we're going to answer some questions and do a simple Q&A.
1. How's the parking ? π Parking is an important question to ask your landlord before you move in. It can help determine who should live there, depending on how many vehicles everyone has. * Our properties always take parking into account. We maximize the amount of available parking to create as much ease and comfort as possible.
2. How's the laundry ? πLaundry is a major factor that should be considered when moving into a new place. If the laundry is not available at all, then you need to look for the nearest laundromat. Or maybe laundry is shared and coin operated. You need to create a schedule so you don't overlap with others doing their laundry and you need to make sure you have coins or a laundry card filled. * Our properties have in-house laundry for both the upstairs and downstairs suites. No shared laundry.
3. Am I responsible for maintenance ? π¨ Maintenance is something you should discuss with your landlord ahead of time so you know what you're responsible for. Maintenance covers everything from a burnt out light, to a broken appliance. If you're not comfortable doing these types of maintenance, do not try them on your own. Find a professional. * At our properties, maintenance is covered by the landlord. We expect a tenant to call us and let us know what's wrong so we can fix it professionally, efficiently and properly.
