PRINCESS CONFIDENTIAL: FORTRESS FALLS
4 Stars- EDMONTON JOURNAL

"The third entry in the series of children’s plays by Ellen Chorley stands strongly next to the others, as both Simon (Neil Kuefler) and Abigail (Merran Carr-Wiggin) amuse, entertain, and even subtly educate kids while also keeping the attention of the adults in attendance."

Promise Productions is thrilled to announce that we will be presenting the world premiere of the third instalment of PRINCESS CONFIDENTIAL at the Edmonton Fringe Theatre Festival in August. This final chapter of the story is a must-see play for families, fairy tales lovers and film noir fans alike! (And you don't have to see the first two plays to enjoy it!)

Promise Productions' Founder/ Artistic Director/ Playwright-in-Residence Ellen Chorley has an exciting project coming up for the Edmonton International Fringe Theatre Festival this August!

Ellen is starring in the world premiere of a one-person play called "TRAIL AND ERROR" by Edmonton playwright Linda Wood Edwards. A true story based on Linda Wood Edward's experience hiking the historic Chilkoot Trail, TRAIL AND ERROR is a hilarious story of adventure and discovery in Canada's north with some major bumps along the way (spoiler alert: she wears the wrong size boots).

PARENTS: "Trail and Error" does feature a few choice "adult" words, but other than the occasional cuss, the content of the play is managable for older children or young teens and doesn't really have anything else offensive in it (unless you find camping, hiking, outhouses, or one woman shows offensive.)
