We got into Architectural signage by picking up when building owners and property managers were abandoned or neglected buy their sign supplier.
It sadly seems the exception that a sign company will follow up with updates or additions to their wayfinding systems once they put them in place.
Once again I had a very frustrated property manager contact us. After months of waiting they were getting no service from their supplier.
Leasing commercial space is very competitive. When they sign a new tenant, they want to get their signage and directories up to date as soon as possible. The tenant wants to have more than a piece of paper taped on the door while they wait 2 months for a permanent sign and their name on the building directory. Their customers, clients and suppliers need to find them.
I turned this into more or a rant that anything, but the pain is real.
This customer needed 4 complete signs done and we’re tired of broken promises.
We reverse engineered the existing signage, and supplied new signs in a timely manner that made the customer very happy.
I got call from another property manager this week. Same issues, different sign company. The story is the same. I thought forensic science would have been a good career. I guess I’m in forensic signs now. 🙂 Works for me.
