🔬If you’re motivated, passionate about STEM, or want to help foster the next generation of scientists and engineers, a summer position with DiscoverE might be the perfect place for you! We’re on the lookout for passionate individuals for both Junior Instructor and Volunteer positions.🔭
🌱Junior Instructors: Must be a Grade 12 student entering their first year of Engineering at the University of Alberta. Junior instructors are tasked with assisting the camp instructors each week and helping to present and deliver camp projects. Junior Instructors are eligible for a $1500 scholarship upon completion of the program.
🌱Volunteers: Must be 15 years of age or older. Volunteers gain valuable experience working with youth by assisting DiscoverE instructional staff during camps and activities.

For the third year in a row, The Fred Otto DiscoverE Program is partnering with the ELITE Program for Black Youth to provide spaces in our engineering camps to black youth in Grades 1 through 9 at no cost! We are excited to be creating more oppportunities for black youth to explore and thrive in STEM!
