What’s on our needles this week? Clifton is knitting the Whisky Sour shirt by Maxim Cyr (final picture is from the projects page on ravelry).

He’s using Scheepjes Catona, which is 100 percent mercerized cotton. This yarn is popular for amigurumi and toy knitting, but it also makes a luxurious fabric for garments and next to skin wear.

This colour is so hard to capture on camera! Make sure to ask Clifton for a progress update next time you’re in the shop. He’s flying along on this project!

WIP Wednesday has come and gone, but there’s always time for a customer spotlight 🤩🫶

Sarah’s mom Catherine just finished knitting a pair of socks using Estelle Yarns evolution cotton sock yarn, that she worked on all throughout her recent trip to China. There may have been some frogging involved to end up with a perfectly matched pair!

Beautiful work Catherine ❤️ she knit the smallest size of the Wise Hilda Basic Ribbed Socks by Kate Atherley by in colour 402 tapestry for a perfect summer sock.

Malabrigo Rios is restocked 🤩🌈🧶

We have been carrying malabrigo Rios since the early days of the shop in 2017. This yarn is well loved for its softness, durability and bright colour options.

We have 22 colour variants currently in stock, located on the yarn tree closest to our cash counter. Look at that lonely skein of Melon at the bottom of the trees, don’t you just need it?!
